Lattic Work II

The figue eight knot was extensively studied in its performance based on forces acting in the Cartesian coordinates.  The figure eight knot, as an aggragation, relies on tensile forces to become an effective utility.  Upon compression, the aggragation is no longer effective in utility, however its potential comes void of any presupposition and inherint within its unpredictable lattice structure.

Lubricious Architecture

A most peculiar feature of the entrance of the trapdoor spider is their orientation.  Contrary to the consistently near-horizontal hinges of most other species living in steep slopes, most of these constructed doors are oriented with the silk woven hinge tilted well away from the horizontal, as most were vertical or nearly so.

Thanatophobia (fear of dieing)

Enemies of the trapdoor spider include certain pomplid (spider) wasps, which seek out the burrow and manage to gain entrance.  They sting the owner and lay their eggs on the trapdoor spiders body.

protection

n :  the act of protecting or the state of being protected; preservation from injury or harm.

Earth Currents

Pieces of plant material and irregluar tabs of silk plus soil up to 10mm long often extend from the entrance rims lips and door edges like linear litter and tabs attached to the entrances of the trapdoor serve to extend the “spider’s prey-sensing radius”.

field of force

n : the space around a radiating body within which its electromagnetic oscillations can exert force on another similar body not in contact with it.
